Los Alamos
Melissa Casias worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory — the U.S. Department of Energy facility in New Mexico that has led American nuclear weapons research since the Manhattan Project. Her work was associated with advanced propulsion research at one of the world's most significant classified science facilities.
Casias disappeared in 2025. Her case has been noted alongside those of Monica Jacinto Reza and Steven Garcia as part of what some researchers describe as a cluster of disappearances involving individuals working on advanced materials and propulsion at sensitive national security facilities. Los Alamos has deep historical connections to both nuclear technology and, according to some accounts, the analysis of UAP-related materials recovered over the decades.
The Pattern Question
Whether the 2025 disappearances of Casias, Reza, Garcia, and others constitute a meaningful pattern — or represent unrelated personal circumstances — is a question being asked by UAP researchers and, reportedly, by some members of Congress. UFOPulse will continue to update this profile as information emerges.
