The Corroborating Witness

Lieutenant Commander Alex Dietrich was Commander Fravor's wingman during the November 14, 2004 Tic Tac encounter. She observed the same white, featureless object from her cockpit — separately from Fravor but simultaneously — providing independent corroboration of his account. Dietrich went public in 2020, becoming the first female military officer to speak publicly about the encounter.

In a CBS 60 Minutes interview, Dietrich described the object as "unsettling" and stated that its performance characteristics — no exhaust, no wings, instantaneous acceleration — were unlike anything in her flight experience. She described the crew's emotional response as one of genuine alarm, not excitement.

The Value of Her Testimony

Dietrich's account is particularly valuable because she observed the encounter from a separate aircraft with a different vantage point than Fravor, yet their descriptions are consistent. Her decision to speak publicly added a significant layer of corroboration to one of the most important UAP cases on record.
