Physical Evidence Research

Linda Moulton Howe is an Emmy Award-winning investigative journalist who has focused for four decades on physical evidence of UAP activity — particularly the cattle mutilation phenomenon, in which livestock are found surgically mutilated under circumstances that have defied conventional explanation. Her 1980 documentary A Strange Harvest brought the phenomenon to national attention and remains a foundational document in the field.

Howe has reported on alleged classified briefings she received from an AFOSI agent (believed to be Richard Doty) in the early 1980s, in which she was shown documents describing recovered craft and non-human beings. She has maintained that the documents were real, though the reliability of that source is contested.

A Polarising Figure

Howe is simultaneously one of the most productive researchers in the physical evidence space and one of its most contested figures — her willingness to report claims before full verification has drawn criticism from more cautious researchers. Her contribution to documenting anomalous physical phenomena associated with UAP activity spans decades and includes some of the field's most compelling case studies.
